OUR FOUNDER

I created this business after a crash course in the realities of property development. A few years ago, we took on what we thought would be a straightforward large-scale renovation of our family home. It was meant to take a year - it took three. At one point we moved back into what was essentially a shell of a house; no kitchen, no bathroom, no heating. That also happened to be the day our third child was born.

 

For months we used our garden furniture indoors. We slept on mattresses on the floor. Every spare pound went into making the house liveable rather than beautiful. It put pressure on our finances, our family and our relationship.

 

I've lived through the pain of delays, mistakes and spiralling costs - and the frustration of seeing a space with huge potential but no budget left to make it shine.

 

That’s why I started this staging company. I know how crucial it is to present a property at its absolute best, especially after everything it’s taken to get there. And I know how clever staging can transform a space, help it stand out in a crowded market and maximise your return on investment.

Our lead time to create and install your scheme is approximately 2 weeks. Please let us know if you require an earlier date.

Installation typically takes 24 hours for smaller properties and up to 72 hours for larger properties.

WHY IS PROPERTY STAGING IMPORTANT?

Dressing a property helps the buyer to visualise the size, layout and space allocation which is a challenge with an empty box. Good staging helps buyers emotionally connect with a space - it makes a house feel like a home.

CAN I PURCHASE THE FURNITURE USED IN STAGING?

If you or your buyer are interested in the furniture used during the stage, we can discuss purchase options and pricing for a complete furniture package.

HOW MUCH DOES STAGING COST?

The cost of home staging varies based on several factors, including the size of the property, the number of rooms to be staged, and the complexity of the staging. As a guide, it typically costs 1-2% of the property value.

HOW LONG DOES THE STAGING PROCESS TAKE?

Once a contract is signed and a deposit is received, the staging process can be completed within approximately two weeks, depending on the size and scope of the project. Our team prepares all items in advance to ensure a smooth staging day.

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE COST?

Our staging provides a comprehensive furniture rental for 6 weeks, along with soft furnishings, accessories & art. We handle all logistics, including delivery, assembly, installation, and removal of furniture.

WHAT SHOULD I DO TO PREPARE MY PROPERTY FOR STAGING?

Before staging, it’s advisable to clean the property thoroughly and ensure that all electrical points and lighting fixtures are working properly. Then hand the keys to us and we’ll handle the rest.
